Terms of Service
Last updated October 22, 2026
The short version
- Your content stays yours. You let Binbee use it to run the scheduler and make your posts.
- Binbee posts only what you schedule.
- Binbee may feature your resources on its own accounts, with credit. You can turn that off.
- Don’t post students’ personal information, things you don’t have rights to, or unsafe links.
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and 2nd Word LLC, doing business as Binbee (“Binbee”, “we”) for using binbee.app and its scheduler. By creating an account or using Binbee, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Binbee for a business or school, you agree for it too.
2. Who can use Binbee
You must be at least 18. Binbee is in early access: you need an invite to sign up, and features may change while we build it. Keep your sign-in details safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else got in.
3. What Binbee does
Binbee lets you connect your own social accounts, make posts (including ready-made posts from your resources), schedule them, and see how they did. Binbee publishes a post only when you have scheduled it or chosen to post it now.
Social platforms change their rules and sometimes fail. A post can be delayed or rejected by a platform, or an account may need reconnecting. We tell you when that happens, but we can’t guarantee that every post goes out exactly on time. Binbee is free during early access. If we start charging, we’ll tell you first, and you won’t pay anything you didn’t agree to.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload and write: your resources, captions, photos and videos (“your content”). You give Binbee permission to store, copy, resize and process your content, and to make posts from it, so we can run the service for you. That includes sending it to the platforms you schedule posts to.
You also let Binbee feature your resources on Binbee’s own social accounts, crediting you and linking to your resource. You can turn this off at any time in your profile, and we’ll stop featuring them from then on.
These permissions are non-exclusive and royalty-free. They end when you delete the content or your account, except for posts already published, which stay where they were posted until removed there.
You promise that you have the rights to your content, including any fonts, clip art, photos and music in it, and that posting it doesn’t break anyone’s rights or any law.
5. Rules
When you use Binbee, don’t:
- Post students’ names, faces or other personal information without the permission you need from the school and families.
- Post content you don’t have the rights to, or that’s hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or misleading.
- Link to phishing, malware, scams or anything illegal. We check links and may block or disable ones that aren’t safe.
- Spam, or break the rules of the platforms you post to.
- Try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer Binbee.
We may remove content, disable links, or suspend accounts that break these rules. If we do, we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
6. Connected social accounts
When you connect a social account, you allow Binbee to post to it for you as described in these terms. You also agree to follow that platform’s own terms. For YouTube, that means the YouTube Terms of Service. You can disconnect an account at any time on the Accounts page or in the platform’s settings.
7. AI suggestions
Binbee can suggest captions and other text with AI. Suggestions can be wrong. Read them before you schedule a post, because you’re responsible for what you post.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or end early access, and we’ll give you notice when we reasonably can. What happens to your data is in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and limits
Binbee is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we don’t make promises beyond the ones in these terms, including about sales, followers or results from your posts.
As far as the law allows, Binbee isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or a missed post, and our total liability to you is limited to $100 or what you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is more.
If your content or your use of Binbee breaks these terms or someone’s rights and causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from it.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. Before starting any formal dispute, please email [email protected] so we can try to sort it out. Any court case goes to the state or federal courts in Tennessee.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as Binbee grows. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell you ahead of time about changes that matter. If you keep using Binbee after a change, the new terms apply. Questions? [email protected].
